Synergee Rhino Powerlifting Barbell

Ordered this barbell on a whim for my powerlifting gym. I wanted a Rogue ohio bar, but I didnt want to wait weeks for shipping. I ordered this bar from synergee and am beyond happy. Came in 3 days and was better packaged than products from large brands like rogue or rep fitness. The quality is amazing and It has held up great so far. If you need a power bar and are unsure what to get, get this rhino power bar. You will be satisfied.

This bar does not disappoint. The price point is decent (found it on sale), the product not only looks good, but feels even better. The knurling is more aggressive than a multi purpose barbell, so that makes it more catered to use in powerlifting. I'd highly recommend this bar.

I have had the bar for a few months now, so I wanted to update my review. The bar is OK. This my second bar from Synergee, so I was expecting better. I got this bar for bench, so I didn’t want it to spin too much and it does that perfectly. The 29mm is a perfect size but the knurling isn’t aggressive, in fact it’s terrible. The stock bar I got with my weight set had a similar knurl. I adjusted my rating down to two stars because I’m disappointed in the grip. It’s was supposed to be aggressive but I would describe the texture as very mild. Otherwise, the bar is fine, but for the money, I think you should look at the Rogue Ohio Power Bar and the Texas Power Bar. In fact, because I was so frustrated with the knurling on the Rhino I just order the Texas Power Bar and that bar actually has an aggressive knurl, it’s the bar I should have bought to begin with. I would still recommend Synergee bars, I have a regional bar I love. I may have just gotten a bad Rhino bar. But given that Synergee bars are about the price of Rogue and Texas Power Bar, I don’t see the reason to buy a Synergee bar.

Haven't used it yet, will probably update once I do. But initial impression upon unboxing is, "wow!" Packaging was great--I read some earlier reviews that showed poor packaging resulting in it arriving damaged. In my case, the packaging was robust and looks like it would be well protected against all but relatively intentional damage in transit. Bar is completely straight, no visible warping or bend. Coating is pristine. Time will tell how well it holds up, but my initial reaction is that I'm glad I didn't spring for the name brand bar at twice the price!

To people considering:I have trained with way more expensive bars and known brands but I think this will do if you are more of an intermediate like me as in "Squat 4+ Pull 5+" etc. I do a lot of sports and lift on the side, I wanted a bar for general use. If you just started in lifting this bar will be plenty. I don't see a reason to get a more expensive bar if you are on the "all or nothing fence". This will do.It is a pretty stiff power bar. For absolute beginners that may not know what this means, it means the bar doesn't flex well (obviously) and it doesn't spin quickly, so do not get this bar if you want to practice "olympic style" like movements "cleans" & "snatches" etc. A stiff power bar is good for things like military press, bench press, squat etc. Good as in it makes them more stable. You still can do the "oly lifts" some what but it really is not meant for that sort of thing.To the Company:This has to be the most hassle free international shipment of Barbell I had ever encounter, especially for Amazon, usually for whatever reason the order is kept on received mode for over a week and then when you contact customer service they go like its blocked try again, or some complicated process always surface. This time I did also see "Carrier corrected delivery address issue for your package" and thought to myself here we go again, contacted Amazon, said everything is fine, and I received the order in under a week from start to finish. I shall support this company further on if I need anything else due to their efficiency. Ordering should really be "Order & Receive". Not "Order & Just got myself into another scenario, should have ordered with another company."The barbell I got wasnt kept in a protective tubing but with styrofoam only, my product came alright but this does increase the product being damaged, mine did came chipped. Hence the star deduction.That's it, was a good purchasing experience overall.Shall keep using the barbell to see the durability, subject to alter this review.

Bar was received quicker than expected, and is a great quality bar for the home gym. Love the heavy knurling.

I’ll start by saying this is not a poor quality bar. The issue is that it’s priced like it’s comparable to the big brands. I also don’t think damaged packaging reviews belong to the product except when the packaging is woefully inadequate. There was nothing to protect the end of the bar so it arrived with a ding and scrapped off coating. I’ve been using it for a week and I can see that the Cerakote is inadequate. It’s working off on the plate holder sections already. The knurling is good but not the aggressive version advertised. I cleaned the storage grease of with brake cleaner, didn’t effect the coating but wiped the logo off in 2 wipes. That would’ve come off in no time otherwise.Buy up or go cheaper, not worth the money.

Got the bar today and it is a joke I could have made a nicer looking product out of my garage with just a cut off wheel. The ends of the bar are cut and this was done by them as they are coated over black very poor craftsmanship. Then to top off the crappy bar the packaging is a joke and they might as well just shipped the bar on its own with no box as one end of the bar was hanging out and all the black is scrapped off. I ordered based on reviews and that they shipped in hard cardboard tubes and were well packaged who ever wrote that review is either paid by this company or got lucky before they started shipping in cheap thin card board and 8 small Styrofoam packages that are just beads by the time the bar got to me. I tried to call the number for issues with the bar and it appears they say they are open until 3 but I have been trying to call prior to 3PM EST and no one answers...

Really loved this, black looks really nice with my blue on black setup.

Great knurling, awesome look. Comes in bomb proof packaging. My only gripe is that in south Texas, in my garage gym, after a few weeks of use, the black finish on the 2” receiving ends of the bar where you load/unload weight, my bar is suffering from some oxidation. It wipes right off, and I have made a point of keeping it oiled on those ends now. Just something to keep an eye on if you live in humid environments.

Even though the bar feels great for warm up weights the knurling is not agressive at all and it came covered in oil which is fine but annoying to clean up overall it's good for the price but not recommended for heavy deadlifting without straps

I just received this bar and it was packaged well and even came with free wrist straps. It seems like a nice quality bar and the ends spin smoothly. I’m taking off one step because they have their label in the middle of the bar, which seems to be a new annoying trend. I’m taking off a second star because the grip isn’t aggressive or even medium- this knurling is very mild. I’m not much of a sweater but if you are you might want to choose a bar with a more aggressive texture.

This is a very well constructed barbell the coating on it leaves a beautiful finish. The one downside is the lack of even a somewhat aggressive knurling. If the knurling was more aggressive this would be the perfect barbell for it's price.

Packed in a very sturdy tube. For the price I appreciate the quality shipping. Item seems to be good quality and very sharp colors. I don't plan on putting more than 315lbs but seems like it will hold up well. . Feels like a good purchase.

Benching and DEadlifts. it works better for Deadlifts, bar bends a little to much for benching, I try to use a bar that does not bend for benching

Okay, you get what you pay for. Initially, I ordered and received a CAP bar. In all fairness, the CAP bar was less money. But my first reaction after inspecting this Rhino Bar is "What A Difference!" The quality of the Bar seems outstanding. The packaging was impeccable. Received in two days. I expect great results when I use over the weekend. A very happy customer! Good product Synergee!UPDATE:Synergee is an exceptional company! Purchased this bar along with a Hex bar. Slight issue and customer service (Kelsey) handled my concern with a courtesy and fairness that is rare these days. This company not only makes great products, but they care about their customers. I ordered another triceps bar that I'm waiting for and can't wait to get it! Synergee has found a loyal customer. A company is only as good as the people behind it. Buy from here. You won't be disappointed!

Omg! This is the Sword excalibur of Power Bars. I feel like King Arthur. I can’t believe the price for this bar either. I would’ve paid $500 for it. I have 4 Rogue bars and 2 hammer strength bars. This is my favorite out of all of them. It just feels better and badass compare to others. If you really try to compare this bar to other brands out there, they’re all pretty much the same BS. Sure one is a little better with numbers or weight, but none of those really matter at the end of the day. They’re all pretty much solid steel lol. Ignore the gimmicks on other brands and try this Rhino. You’ll be glad.

I loved everything about this purchase. The price was great, the shipping was fast, and the packaging was sturdy. Once I got the bar out, I just needed to wipe some of the excess oil off that it shipped with (Nice touch) and it was ready to go. The knurling is perfect for heavy deadlifts and I noticed no bar roll on bench over 400, which was a nice change from my last cheap bar. The straps and wrist wraps were a nice touch, although I dont particularly care to use them, but its cool to have for if i ever do/anyone i lift with needs them.I would highly reccomend this to anyone and everyone.

This is a very solid and well finished power bar for the money. The knurling is a medium-aggressive volcano pattern. I find that it grips well during long deadlift sets without being painful. The bar is very stiff, and doesn't flex or whip during heavy squats. I have used this bar to squat over 400 lbs -- very solid. The cerakote finish and red accents are a nice aesthetic choice.Overall: great power bar, very sturdy, good value for money.

Absolutely the best Olympic bar ever made!!!!!!!!!!! I f you don’t have this bar, than your missing out in one of life’s greatest achievements in technology and beauty, There’s no way to express completely how fantastic this bar is truly. The FEEL, the grip, from the outer sleeve to the 3-D insignia of SYSNERGEE, everything about this bar you will love, your wife may get jealous, because you will find that you’ll feel the need to spend to much time with this bar, ok I’m pretty sure i some up what i had to say about this bar, but rest assured no matter what other bars you have , you will need to grab this bar fast, otherwise you true weight lifting fanatics will never know what you been missing, thanks again to SYNERGEE, you guys are the best!!!!!!!!
