DOA - Deflated On Arrival

The ball just arrived and I am completely disappointed. The ball arrived in the condition shown in the attached pictures, mostly deflated and completely unusable. Nowhere in the description of the item does it advise you should have a pump on hand to pump the ball up upon receipt! That would have been good information to know! Now I have to buy a pump just to use the darn thing, so it just became even more expensive. I will never buy one of these ever again.Update : I bought a pump on here for just under $11.00. I spent about 10 minutes pumping up the ball, but the deflated side never completely filled out and you can hear air escaping. This was not worth all the money I spent, both for the ball and for the pump. I would give this product a pass.

Subpar quality

The quality of this ball is subpar. I bought four of these and already had to return two of these balls as they burst. I run a volleyball club and during the spring the heat got a little higher than 80 degrees in the gym (we do not have air conditioning as we live in Jersey and it's expensive as hell), the balls ended up losing their shape from the expanding air inside. One day we were running drills and we heard a loud: "Bang" my girls went to check out the self and said: "Coach, the med ball blew up!" A couple days later, the second one blew up. I had to bring the other two balls home and leave them in my cooler basement and deflate them slightly before returning them.Absolutely awful quality. Cap needs to stick to casting iron plates.

Deforms easily

It's not a solid ball like I would expect. If you put any pressure on the sides of it, it completely deforms. I have an 8lbs ball from the same company that doesn't have this problem.

Product had good intentions to be a nice product.

I choose this rating because after about 30 days of use the product has stopped working. The ball busted open and is now trash. The product wasn't used daily so there truly should not be a reason why this product died. Maybe it was just a bad batch of the ball that I got, but unfortunately I can't give it a great review. It did start out to be a nice product to help me work on my core.

Good product - makes exercise fun

Bought the 2lbs & 4lbs for my kids. They love them! Turns exercise into a fun activity. The 2lbs feels a little bit lop sided but isn't that noticeable. The 4lbs is awesome. My only complaint is the black areas are peeling to show the teal & purple colors like the rest of the ball but, still very usable. I plan to buy the 6lbs next.

good for niche uses

I had hoped to use this ball as a kind of larger squeeze ball at work. I love the little "Gravity Gripp" balls that weigh a pound and build hand strength. Unfortunately, I wear them out quickly. I would love to have something just a little heavier to squeeze. Unfortunately, this ball has about a five or six inch diameter and is too big to take to work.This ball seems to be made well and can be inflated to give a bounce. I'm guessing that this ball would have pretty good longevity even with frequent use. The 2 pound weight is too light to have much value to me for exercise. For children or maybe even for smaller adults, this ball might be useful. I can't say that the ball is a poor product, but the ball didn't meet my particular needs.
