CAP Dumbbell Set

The set arrived in three separate shipments and was well packaged, with styrofoam on either side of the dumbbells. There were no missing parts. Assembly was straightforward, but you will need an adjustable wrench, in addition to the Allen key that’s included, in order to fully tighten the screws.There was a noticeable chemical smell on all the items, but it has since dissipated. The rack feels sturdy and does not wobble under the weight, though long-term durability remains to be seen.The dumbbells themselves arrived in excellent condition. They’re slightly tacky to the touch, but overall consistent in size and weight.The set doesn’t take up much space, so it can fit in smaller areas. Overall, it offers good value for the price I paid during the spring sale.

Note these weights are more narrow than regular gym standard hand weights. They do not fit on my rack with my other standard weights, but overall they seem very good quality for the unbeatable price.

Great weighs

These work great! Perfect for a quick workout. The stand part seemed pretty self explanatory but I didnt seem any instructions. The pre-drilled holes are smaller than the screws, so I would strongly suggest using an electric screwdriver/ power drill+driver to put the stand together. Other than that, it all came exactly as expected :) the stand seems sturdy enough for the weights and we are happy with our purchase. The weights are comfortable to hold with good grip and the perfect weight to start working out, or to work out with younger humans

No rubber smell/odor at all! Nice coating provides a non-slip grip. Some reviews cited issues with the coating, but I didn't have any.Bought them to replaced my solid rubber weights because of the strong odor of the rubber. I have asthma and couldn't deal with fumes.

Good quality, accurate weight, slightly larger grip

Bought a set of 15 lb. dumbbells to increase the weight for my daily routine. The weight is accurate and the neoprene covering is very smooth and even, a step up from my other neoprene dumbbells that have a seam in the handle area. It should be noted that this set of 15 lb. dumbbells does have a slightly larger grip than others I use. I have big hands, so the larger grip is fine for me, but individuals with smaller hands may find the slightly larger grip uncomfortable).

SOMETIMES LIGHTER IS BETTER

While I am working outback at Planet fitness, I have several ligaments tears in my shoulders and at the insertion of one bicep. While I can work bench press machines at 100lbs+, I am also looking to develop the auxiliary muscles in my shoulders, by working on a bench with dumbbells of much less weight like these. I get two benefits from this: 1. It engages the minor muscles and encourages ligament “healing” to a degree so that I can lift in better form. 2. It lets me start the lift from a lower point that stretches the joint more. The effort with the machines starts from a higher point. This is like taking the bottom position of a push-up loser to the ground. Now this is my special reason for doing these relatively low weights, but for other people who need to use these weights as a starting point, I think the CAP dumbbells are about the best priced and high quality.

These weights were pretty good I saw in the reviews that some people said that is came with missing parts or the dye on the weight would come off but that’s not at all what happened with mine they work so well just make sure to screw the stand tight the only thing I didn’t like was how it came . It came neatly packaged on the top with the weights but on the bottom the pieces to the stand were just thrown in their but overall good product

One of the best dumbbell sets I've ever used. I'm 31 and starting to get back into my fitness journey. The 10lb dumbbell set is perfect! It fits perfectly in my hands, and it doesn't feel slick like you're going to drop it at all. Very sturdy too. It is great for upper-body workouts or doing some RDLs. I use it with the FitbyMik workout tutorials on YouTube. You would be surprised how much two 10lb weights can change your physique. Overall, highly recommend!
