Customers praised this equipment for back workouts and quality at its price point. Many found it "sturdy" and "works perfectly." However, height adjustment limitations affect both shorter and taller individuals. Some reported shipping delays, missing components, paint flaking, and pad design discomfort for men.

Not for short people

Good quality. Unfortunately I cannot adjust as low as I need it to go. This item was not designed for short people

so far, very happy with purchase

for the price, it can’t be beat. assembly was a problem for me as i have absolutely no tools whatsoever. i hired someone to put it together. it took him about 30 minutes, and he had to go back to his truck twice for tools. so, if you don’t have tools, assembly could be a problem. the instructions leave something to be desired as far as i was concerned, but my assemblyman had no problem with them.stability - the only issue i have is with the padded rollers. they definitely are loose, but not so much i’m worried about them coming completely loose and spilling me to the floor on my head. the hip pad is sturdy - and comfortable - no issues there, and there’s no wobbliness to the unit itself, even tho you can lift it with one hand. i’m not worried in the least about something giving way while using, but i’m only using a twenty pound weight right now to do glute ham raises. for reference, im 5’7” and weigh about 135 pounds so far - i’m just beginning my fitness journey. also, no issues with the grab bars up front - i’ve used them for modified pushups and the unit is stable. i’ve even used it ‘backwards’, draping my torso over the pad from the front to do hyperextensions - no wobble or worries. however, if i were to try full body weight dips, i would def add a 35lb plate to each leg beneath the roller - it’s not *that* sturdy.finally, for vertically challenged people - im 5’7”, and have long femurs - and even then, i have to keep the height adjustment on the very first setting. anything higher and the pad would be hitting at my waist or above, not my hips. just something to keep in mind.overall, i’m very happy with this machine, esp for the price. as i get stronger, tho, and build more muscle and add more load, i imagine i’ll have to get a sturdier unit. but for now, it’s perfect.

6’2 215 lbs so good on that. A little shaky but biggest is flaking paint when box opened.

Over 6’3 I would go with different product. A little shaky but biggest downside is when I opened box red paint already flaking off.

Solid

I read a lot of reviews before I chose this piece of equipment. I am 6'3 and 225 and this works perfectly for me with absolutely no wobble or shaking. I get a great workout each time with no worries.

Assembly was a 2 person job but Really helps the low back and core

Should be an opening to accommodate male anatomy.

Easy to assemble. Recommended!

This product is easy to assemble and does what it needs to do. My only gripe is that the actual bench is somewhat too long (compared to the one at my gym). I am 5’7 and have to stand on the tips of my toes in order to extend my body downward without hitting my hip bone. Still works for what I need it to do, just not as comfortably. Still recommended, though.

Serves its purpose.

It was easy to assemble, as there wasn’t many parts to assemble. I’m 5’11” and weigh 170 lbs. I’m not a big guy, so I’m not concerned about the thing supporting me. I feel secure using it.

Workout

Missing components. Not very sturdy. Once I figure the nuts and bolts I need to get at the hardware store it should be fine.

Not too comfortable for men

I use this equipment to strengthen my lower back. It's good quality and it does the job. However, I can only do short repetitions due to the fact that it becomes discomfort in the areas of my crown jewels. The manufacturer should have made an opening/gap in the middle of the pad to make it comfortable for men. This is the only reason why I'm giving the overall rating of 3.

Functional

A bit confusing instructions, some pictures do not match parts in the box. But overall, it works well and is worth the money.

Row-man back workout- Quality!

Rarely do I leave reviews, but this Roman chair was one of countless I researched prior to purchasing. Prime with free returns ultimately sealed the deal vs others. Price is on point for the quality. Packaging kept the parts from getting scratched or dinged. All parts were present and directions were very easy to discern. Took less than 15 minutes to unbox, put together, and test out. I’m tall, the misses is short and it works for both of us. Is it a $800 precor or cybex brand?? -certainly not but hard to tell the difference.Good back work out, and good quality.

Solid back extension!

I like Synergee products and the back extension is on par. IMO worth the $$ and I’d recommend.

Does what it says on the tin

Sturdy, well-built, no issues with it so far. Plenty of settings, works well for me (5'5"). I presume that the higher settings should accommodate most body types. As far as ease of assembly goes: it helps to have a socket set to put something like this together - but then that tends to be the case for this type of equipment in general. There's a bit of discrepancy in the labelling of the screws, but then this isn't exactly rocket science and is easy to figure out. One connection was particularly tight and could have used a screw just a few millimetres longer, but it's doable and can be well secured once the threads are engaged properly.I've only had this for a few weeks now, and therefore have only used it a handful of times, so I can't comment on the durability of the padding, etc. However, I can say that it appears to be of better quality than that of another Roman Chair that I had to abandon during a move several years ago, and that one held up well for nearly 10 years of thrice-weekly use. I'm expecting at least as much out of this one.
