Poor quality, seals cracked in 2 days

The product works fine, but the seals around the joints cracked almost immediately. So the machine does not look new, seems I bought it used from somewhere.

Late Delivery And Broken Weld

Very disappointed. Ordered this early in preparation for a lifting competition but has since been delayed multiple days. Then after being delivered several days later it arrived with this weld completely broken off. Don’t waste your money on this piece of junk.

100% recommended!!!!!!!!

I was looking for a calf raise machine for my home gym. Tried a few in local suppliers and saw this one in Amazon and order it. I was kind of afraid it will be cheap and could not hold the weights well. Totally wrong!!!!! It is very stable when you put the weights and it works super for a home gym. I usually don’t write reviews but when I really find something I like I do cause I base my purchases in other reviews.

Gets the Job Done

It gets the Job done and really gets the calves worked. It's pretty compact and smaller than expected which is a plus for me. The con is that it's not super high quality and the bar that goes up and down is not perfectly straight. So if you load it up with some large plates like 45's or bumper plates, one of them will hit the bottom bar. This will limit range of motion, which is something you need to have if you plan to grow your calves. Other than that pretty decent quality. The instructions are ok and the bolts/hardware mentioned in there are totally off.

Don't buy if you are over 5"10

Do not buy if you are 5'10 or taller made for shorter people, good quality though

Prefect addition to my home gymn

Excellent addition to my home gymn. I replaced the bolts for the handle and the resting guide with steel Clovis pins for quick and easy removal so I could store the machine when it's not in use.

Unstable

Nice finish but that it. It's unstable. The main part leans to the left when weight is added. The Olympic weight sleeves are plastic. And the foot plate has little grip to keep your feet on. I'd return it but I procrastinated putting the thig together

Took me 40 minutes to set upPerfect for at homeConfused myself with 2 bolts placements or would have had it done in 25 thought I was missing a bolt but was my mistakethe instructions are garbage but still easy to assemble if you understand basic assembly instructionsIf you have a hard time with instructions probably gna take you over an hour.

To small

I have been an avid gym goer for 25+ years..I decided to add this machine to my house for more consistency on my calves due to injuries...In my opinion if you are taller then 5'8" it will be to small for you.The seat is positioned to close to the rack as well as to close to the foot position..very limited range of motion for full calf range

Don’t bother if you’re over 5’10”

Packing was fine. Instructions were sub par at best. However my biggest complaint is how compact this is. I’m 6’ and it feels cramped. I can probably drill more holes to move the seat back, but that’s going to be a PITA. Will give it a shot when I do legs in the morning, but I’ll likely be sending this back.

Quality

I love this machine. It went far beyond my expectations. Great quality and easy to assemble. Well worth it. I highly recommend.

Hardware

Easy to setup. Hardware is low quality and several bolts were bent and didn’t fit through the holes properly. Ended up straightening them out enough to make it work without buying new ones.

Quality Machine

This calf raise machine is great quality - it feels nearly like a piece of commercial gym equipment. It’s a little bulky for most garage/home gyms (read dimensions carefully). But if you’re wanting to invest in a calf raise machine, space probably isn’t a concern. This is a good one

Missing bolts

I thought I would get lucky and receive my order without missing hardware, but I was wrong. The directions are not helpful, there are only pictures with arrows.

Great calf machine with few limitations

Pro's: Fit and form, well made. Heavy duty steel. Comfortable seat and thigh pads. Loads olympic plates. Price. Angled gripped footplates.Con's: Range is limited when 45lb plates are loaded (drop to the floor). Unadjustable seat distance and height. Plastic caps over the loading bars to fit olympic plates.

Missing hardware and poor customer service

Overall I do like this unit. However I did run into some very frustrating issues. The kit was missing many pieces of the hardware. I had to wait to the following Monday to call customer service in Canada. They were to ship out a full h/w set on which I am still waiting!! I finally got so frustrated that I had to go to three different stores to find the specific nuts/bolts required to put the unit together. You would think they would pay attention and ensure the kits include everything that is required. If it was not too much trouble I would have shipped back.

Good value for the money

It arrived in a damaged box but it was all there and every piece was wrapped with bubble wrap. First thoughts were it's made of heavy gauge material and it came with an extra knee pad. Assemble was a breeze and all needed tools were provided. This machine is sturdy and it is a great value for the quality. I highly recommend buying one. My only complaints are the 2" sleeves are plastic and the hinge is made of a bronze bushing instead of bearings.
